The new JeanRichard Aquascope Lady Night replica watch combines impressive 300 meters water resistance rating with beautiful design.
The new diving watch is presented in the signature “Aquascope” case that combines a cushion-shaped stainless steel body with a round bi-directional rotating bezel crafted of aluminum.
However, it must be noted that, being 44.50 millimeters wide and whole 40 millimeters long (the lugs at both sides, although they are relatively short, will add at least 7 millimeters more to its overall length), the watch will probably require something sportier than cocktail dress or business attire. Sporting polished and satin-finished surfaces, the case looks dressy enough for the watch to be worn on special occasions. Like dating.
Frankly, I have an impression that there are just too many elements on the timekeeper’s face that, sporting different shapes and styles, not only make the dial look a bit cluttered but also somehow cheapen its overall feel. The diamonds are lost on the mottled background of the chapter ring with its 1/5th of a second markers, while the black square shaped markers at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock don’t really play well with the clear white precious stones.
The luxurious feel of the Lady Night is further enhanced with eight diamonds that serve as hour-markers and look particularly well on the black background of the dial.
Being a real diver, the best quality fake JeanRichard watch offers superb legibility thanks to its rhodium-plated hands that are additionally covered with generous amounts of Superluminova. Even the second hand has a small triangular dot of the luminescent substance on its tip.
Well, perhaps it’s simply a matter of personal taste.
Although there are two crowns on its case, only one is designed to operate the manufacture-made caliber. The other one serves to lock in place the rotating bezel, just to make sure that its owner will not find herself on a sea bed with no breathing gas left in its tanks.
As usual for the Aquascope series, the watch is powered by the Caliber JR1000 automatic movement.
Frankly, I find this method of manipulation not particularly comfortable even when it comes to bare fingers, not to say when you try to set the bezel wearing diving gloves. However, if you don’t plan to use it as a diving companion, this is probably not such a big deal.
Despite its minor design flaws, it is a beautiful accessory for a modern woman. Its high price is partially justified by the use of diamonds and the in-house caliber that powers it. All in all, I would give it eight out of ten possible stars.

Unlike their more common Caliber JR60, which is based on a Sellita SW200 blank movement, this mechanism is developed and built solely in-house. Robust and reliable, the movement is also nicely decorated, which is a plus for a timepiece that will retail for hefty $7500. Regretfully, it is hidden behind a solid steel cover so you will probably have to admire the fact that your mens JeanRichard watch replica is animated by a finely crafted movement, not by the tiny engine itself.
